Highways Maintenance Efficiency Award

The Highways Magazine Excellence Awards 2016 are due to take place later this year, and they have recently announced online entries for the awards opened on 7 March, with a closing date of 24 June. For the second year running HMEP is supporting the Highways Maintenance Efficiency Award which is sponsored by Kier. The judges will be looking for your organisation to have developed and implemented a transformational approach to service delivery, resulting in service improvement, measurable cost efficiencies and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Last year Essex County Council and Ringway Jacobs won the award for forming a collaborative integrated team that improved customer experience whilst generating savings and achieving sustainable efficiencies. The judges commented "Good contractor and local authority collaboration. Demonstrating year on year efficiencies and improvements that can be reinvested back into the network".
